Siguiendo con limp bizkit, llegaba el año 2001, como era de esperarse sacaba un nuevo álbum llamado “New Old Songs” (aquí esta el link de descarga) si era un disco con remixes de temas de los primeros discos. Si mal no recuerdo este disco lo adquirimos el mismo día (fre and me), en una de nuestras visitas de fin de semana que hacíamos al zócalo, bueno no precisamente pero cerquita de ahí. Él lo compro en una plaza comercial, yo después lo compre en un shit-up ya que solo ahí tenían disponible una copia, bien felices por las compras realizadas llegamos a casa y obvio a escuchar el nuevo ruido adquirido…

Pues hace un buen rato que elaboré una pequeña lista de artistas que me laten o que al menos tienen una rola rescatable para mi gusto, al más puro estilo one hit wonder es casi de dos hojas (ambos lados) algunas bandas que ya hice mención pues ya tienen su respectivo "tachecito" de ya mencionado en este blog.
Viendo esto me parece la única buena para mi, igual a otros no, una banda llamada Hello Seahorse! con la canción bajo el título Won't Say Anything.
Sáz!!! pues me voy dando cuenta que poco a poco me estoy quedando sin material que compartir a lo mucho y para un mes y medio no teniendo en cuenta los discos que tenga en común con mi buen compa **slag** siendo así pues igual y se reduce esto y se acaba la temporada de descargas domingueras y vendrían siendo entonces ahí de vez en cuando ya no tan exactas!
Tengo un par de ideas:
** que sea un aporte por semana y no dos como se venia manejando.
** que siga siendo normal hasta que nos quedemos sin discos que subir.
El siguiente disco para bajar {link para descargarlo} es de una banda regiomontana llamada Jumbo con su compilado, muy bueno por cierto, de nombre Gran Panorámico.
Hace rato que me lo compré, fue una muy buena decisión, tiene una exquisita selección de tracks muy muy buenos, cada vez que lo escucho obviamente me hace remontar a casi un par de años atrás.
Jumbo es el nombre de un grupo de música rock originario de Monterrey, México que forma parte del movimiento musical llamado avanzada regia. Surge a raíz de una banda llamada Blueswagen (1994), donde Castillo (vocalista) y Charly (bajista) junto con Edy, Rana y Chuy Guerra comenzaron a tocar los fines de semana en la ciudad de Monterrey, dentro del circuito de bares de Rock & Roll. Blueswagen graba 12 tracks en un demo de estudio,bajo la producción de Jesús Flores con lo que atraen la atención de varios sellos discográficos.
El cuarto disco, Gran Panorámico fue lanzado en el 2005. Este disco fue el fin de una era de Jumbo; Se despiden de la banda los hermanos Eddy y Enrique Gonzalez (Teclista y baterista respectivamente), dejando al grupo sin la "esencia Beatlesca" que estos le daban. En este disco se incluyen los videos de la banda en un DVD adicional, y contiene además una recopilcación de éxitos junto con dos nuevas canciones inéditas: Hasta que el sol se apague y desprendiéndose como sencillo la canción "Caminando hacia atrás". Es en este disco donde se lanza el video del sencillo "Día", creado por Vinnie Veritas y dibujado totalmente a mouse.

Hoy llega el 3er álbum de Limp Bizkit llamado “chocolate starfish and the hot dog flavored water”. Era el año 1999 cuando conocí a esta grupo, el disco que sacaron ese año era el “significant other” pensé que ese era su 1er álbum, pero no resulta que era el 2do. En fin ya era necesario nuevo material, además de que en el radio sonaba una nueva canción de ellos, yo no sabía el titulo siempre decían el nombre de la rola antes de que empezara, por lo regular la oía pasados unos segundos o a la mitad, también en un canal que existía en esos tiempos donde pasaban todo el día videos, pasaba la rola pensaba que la canción pertenecía a su segundo disco ya que al inicio del video se escucha un pedacillo de “break stuff”. Pero no era así ya que las imágenes que pasan en el video pertenecen a una película, entonces era una canción inédita, hasta que escuche en el radio por fin el titulo y a que disco pertenecía: “locutor: ahora escucharemos a limp bizkit con la canción que hicieron para el soundtrack de M:i-2 llamada “take a look around”, además de que este tema también vendrá incluido en su nuevo material”. Oras… platicando con mi primo el me comento que trataría de conseguir el disco del soundtrack, porque no me creyó (bueno yo también tuve mis dudas) de que lo incluyeran en su new material, así que nos conseguimos la banda sonora… llego el día en que salía el chocolatoso, a comprarlo y revisando el tracklist, sorpresa si venia la cancioncita…
Así que por segunda vez estará disponible para descargar (solo esa melodía)…

Pues apenas este domingo que acaba de pasar el Super Bowl y la verdad como ni me atrae pues ni mucho al caso con eso, no se quién quedó en segundo lugar por que el ganador fueron los Potros y esto lo se por las noticias que aunque no quiera oírlo lo pasaron.
Como sea, ehmm pues recuerdo que una vez ví un partido de estos hace ya un buen cuando pasaban muy seguro a la final los Vaqueros, también traté de incursionar en el mundo del Américano comprando tarjetas de los jugadores (cuando iba en la primaria, uffff!!) y hasta un póster tenía en mi cuarto (cuando tenía otro cuarto) esa época de Dan Marino y Troy Aikman (no ma!!) ya tiene un ratotote.
Pero bueno el hecho es que hay un par de vídeos relacionados con este mundo de los golpes y de tacleo que me vienen a la mente y que se trata de nada más y nada menos que del Reverendo con su canción The Fight Song muy buen ruido para darse unos golpecillos y otra más chida (visual) que de hecho es la única que le he escuchado de Bubba Sparxxx la cual agrupa varias cosas de buen ver tales como un videojuego de éste deporte, pero eso no es lo interesante del vídeo, check it out ...

No recuerdo bien el año pero seguramente era a principio de este 2000 época decembrina ya que por esos tiempos me daban dinero por ser fin de año jeje el cual invertía en comprar discos y más discos de música de mis artistas favoritos, que aún lo siguen siendo junto con unos nuevos hoy en día.
Para ese entonces tenía que comprar el disco que hoy es aporte (bajalo de por acá) de una banda llamada El Descendiente cual nombre tan más feo en español así que mejor digamosle solamente The Offspring con su albúm Conspiracy Of One!
Conspiracy of One es el sexto disco de The Offspring lanzado el 14 de noviembre de 2000. El disco incluye las versiones karaoke de "Original Prankster" y "One Fine Day" y el video casero de "Huck It". Este álbum iba a ser lanzado gratuitamente por internet desde el sitio oficial de Offspring pero Columbia Records mediante un amarre legal no lo permitió.
