The Rising of Bool Sponge!!!
Corría el año 2003 más o menos, la verdad no recuerdo bien el año, pero lo que sí recuerdo perfectamente fué el nacimiento del Bool Esponja a.k.a. Ponchito según his mother.
Ponchito (a.k.a. Alfonso) iba conmigo en el torpedeutico, en ese año (2002) me tocó en la tarde las clases de 16.00 a 20.30 [hrs] fue ahí donde lo conocimos, era de esos clásicos ñoños torpes, el profe dejaba tarea e inmediantamente se lanzaba a la biblio para buscar la info siendo de noche como eso de las 21.00 [hrs] o sea imaginense qué súper-hueva, nel yo optaba por irme a mi casita a descansar, ni quién pensara en buscar y hacer la tarea en la noche!
Oks! pues ya después de este intro viene la hsitoria del cómo nacio dicho personaje que hasta ahora es conocido como La Esponja jojo! :: Como es/era costumbre en la División de Ciencias Básicas se efectuaban los sábados en determinadas fechas los famosos examenes departamentales (ahh que miedo) en una ocasión después de efectuar uno de estos (no me acuerdo de qué materia fue) me encontré a la banda del prope que estaban contando sus impresiones del examen:
p1: qué te salió en la pregunta 2?
p2: pues tal cosa ... y a ti??
p1: no pues esto ...
... blablabla ...
En eso el Roa llevaba un peluche de Bob Esponja, el Bool andaba también en la bola como todos los demás, shalala shalala, alguien dijo entonces:
+ A no ma!! pinche Bob Esponja se parece un chingo al Bool
(jajaja, las risas no se hicieron esperar por parte de todos los ahí reunidos, jajaja si es cierto). El Bool procedió a hacer lo mismo y se rió como todos los demás (no hubiera hecho eso porque...)
+ Ahh jajaja también se parece en los dientes jajaja!!
(todos riendonos y viendo la reacción del entonces simplemente Bool el cual al oir tal comparación procedió dejar de reir y se concluyo a mantener cerrada la boca jojo!!)
A partir de ahí se le empezó a nombrar al Bool con su nuevo mote: El Bool Esponja y desde ahora es conocido como tal ... En una ocasión el profe del laboratorio de Electricidad y Magnetismo (antes de que la fusionaran con Termodinámica) nos dejo llevar una "esponja" para el laboratorio, La Esponja era de mi equipo, esa vez no compramos el material pues para que preocuparnos si ya teníamos nuestra propia esponja -jajaja- Lo más caguengue fue que el mismo Bool me preguntó:
E: Oye! compraste la esponja?
A lo cual procedo a decirle que no y si a la vez de una forma peculiar: simular que le arrancaba un pedazo de esponja (de la panza) de él mismo jaja!, enseguida al notar mi ademán procede a decirme:
E: Hey!! qué pasó ehh!! ya te ví.
Pues hoy que estaba oyendo radio mediante web usando last.fm sincronizando algo de The Flaming Lips veo que tuvieron una participación en el soundtrack de la película de The SpongeBob SquarePants con el tema llamado Spongebob And Patrick Confront The Wall Of Energy.

A computer screen in the song's video displays the words "chemical brothers', written in binary code. The Chemical Brothers also appear in pictures along a corridor, marked "Employees of the Month". The group of hippies outside have a sign saying "Come With Us," the Chemical Brothers' fourth album.

Llegó el día del esperado concierto que tanía espectativas para mí, reunía algo bueno el cartel y como lo mencioné había bandas que se prestaban para la ocasión. Al llegar al recinto lo primero fue comer algo pues el hambre hacía de las suyas en nuestro sistema ...
Después de eso a ver que se estaba presentando en el escenario principal era el turno de los de Quiero Club la cual en su presentación pues no estuvo tan chida, además al ver a tu alrededor veías que no había tanta gente reunida como en festivales pasados tal como en el VL por citar un ejemplo. Esta canción llamada Let Da Music me hace recordar unos movimientos improvisados al lado de Lo!
El siguiente grupo fueron los de Paramore la neta nada más he escuchado y medio visto una canción de estos que se llama Crushcrushcrush y eso porque una vez le andaba cambiando de canal a la tv y pasé por el 11 y de ahí lo dejé por tanto solamente ví como la mitad del vídeo, lo que no entendí esa vez en su presentación es por qué chingados la vocal traía una playera que decía: "Paramore es una banda" o sea pues se supone que lo es o no?, mmm seguramente no por eso lo quiere aclarar (L).
Decidimos quedarnos en el escenario negro, para dar paso a The Kooks banda que solamente he escuchado la rola de título Shine On y eso pues más o menos porque de igual forma ni me sé la letra.
Después de estos hicieron su aparición The Flaming Lips quienes iniciaron con Race For The Prize la cual había escuchado alguna vez pero no sabía quién la cantaba y cómo se llamaba la canción; Wayne Coyne anduvo entre la gente mediante una gran burbuja en la cual él estaba adentro así estuvo caminando sobre las personas (literal), depués de ello regreso al escenario para dar paso al show que todos o la gran mayoría esperabamos, todo estuvo bien chido con muchos colores y psicodelía!
