Este día viendo el facebook leo lo siguiente:

Así es, que este día 30 de julio pero del año 1991 debutaba este video:

«Enter Sandman» fue el segundo vídeo musical de la carrera del grupo, y el primero del disco homónimo. Se grabó en 3 de julio de 1991 en Los Ángeles y se estrenó el 30 de julio del mismo año, dos semanas antes del lanzamiento del disco. El vídeo fue el primero de los seis que Wayne Isham dirigió para el grupo. En él se entremezclan imágenes del grupo tocando con imágenes de un niño teniendo pesadillas y un anciano.

Este niño sueña que está cayendo desde lo alto de un edificio, siendo perseguido por un camión para luego caer desde una montaña y escapar del mismo. Durante la parte de la canción en la cual el niño recita una plegaria, éste es visto rezando mientras es observado por el anciano.

El vídeo ganó el premio de la MTV al «Mejor vídeo de rock» del año en 1992 y fue nominado en las categorías de «Mejor fotografía» y «Mejor montaje» en esa misma edición.

Este fin de semana Metallica anduvo dándole al toquin en su primer festival organizado por ellos llamado Orion Music + More... total que el Sábado decidieron tocar por primera vez completo el album llamado "Ride the Lightning" del cual el único tema que no habían tocado en directo y era la primera vez que lo hicieron fue:

Para despedir este mes en cuanto a aportes, que mejor que como empezó con doble aporte. Que sera bueno para cerrar este mes... el siguiente disco que anda de aniversario :P

Metallica . . . Guitar Hero . . . It's Official!

Yes, we know, it's the worst kept secret in rock-n-roll but we're here now to finally confirm that there will indeed be an all-Metallica Guitar Hero game released in the first half (!?) of 2009. Guitar Hero Metallica allows you to play as us in either single instrument or band career game modes in your choice of some famous settings (Tushino Airfield anyone?) or new venues with in the round staging. Included are 28 Metallica songs along with a few from some of our buddies like as Alice in Chains, the Foo Fighters, Slayer, Machine Head and Queen. There is also an all new Expert+ difficulty setting featuring two bass drum kick pedals (!!!) along with all the gameplay modes from Guitar Hero World Tour.
Over the next few months, we're going to be updating you with track listings, more features, of course how and when you can get the game, and some cool previews of the game right here on the site. As you've heard us say before, keep checking back for more details!*

GH3 vs RB

Así es chav@s, continuando con lo juegos musicales nos encontramos tanto en el Guitar Hero III como en el Rock Band a esta gran banda llamada Metallica, en el primer juego nos topamos con su tema clasico titulado "One" de su album: "...And Justice for All" en el segundo game se hace presente con esta rola llamada "Enter Sandman" de su album: "Metallica (The Black Album)".
