i've been waiting for ... placeres desconocidos

Pues ya ni sé si es por moda o porque realmente son amantes de la música o al menos del grupo Joy Division, ya que resulta ser, que entrando al fakebook en varias páginas leo que están " Celebrando 40 años del disco Unknown Pleasures " de hecho hasta en las apps de música también lo pusieron, llámense Spotify y Deezer.


Sinceramente yo no sabía que ya habían pasado 40 años de ese disco, sin embargo sí conozco canciones de ellos y creo que debería agradecer a The Killers y a mi ansiedad de buscar cómo sonaban las versiones originales, así es, ya que cuando supe que la canción de Shadowplay era un cover tuve que investigar de quién era la versión original, de ahí fue que me dispuse a saber más de Joy División llegando a encantarme.

Unknown Pleasures (En español: "Placeres Desconocidos") es el primer álbum de estudio de la banda británica Joy Division, publicado en junio de 1979. La imagen de la portada muestra 100 pulsos sucesivos del primer púlsar descubierto. La cubierta trasera no contiene la lista de canciones, sino una tabla en blanco donde ésta debiera estar.

Unknown Pleasures alcanzó el puesto número 71 de ventas de las listas inglesas en agosto de 1980. El álbum es catalogado por la revista Rolling Stone como el vigésimo (20º) mejor álbum de su lista 100 Grandes Álbumes Debut de Todos los Tiempos
